Welcome to Step by Step Ministries, a division of Brigette Wagner Ministries, Inc.  This ministry is a ministry of faith and hope, where faith trusts whole-heartedly in the awesomeness of God and hope embraces the perfection of His Word and plan for our lives.  It is my prayer that as you visit this site, you will feel the presence of God and know that He has great and mighty things planned for your life. As Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Personal Testimony

I  have been a Christian all of my life.   I grew up singing, playing the piano, and “sleeping on the church benches”.  With the exception of a few rebellious teenage years, I have lived my life for the glory of the Lord.

After running from the Call of God on my life, I finally surrendered totally to him when I was 21 years old and moved from South Carolina to Florida to attend Bible college and pursue my destiny as a minister of the Gospel.

While planning to graduate from college and get married, I found myself battling severe anxiety attacks and was forced to face my fears, deal with my perfectionism, and purge my “approval addiction”.  I know what it is to walk through depression, overcome fear and anxiety, and rise above the addiction of people-pleasing.  God used this difficult and challenging time in my life to cleanse me, teach me, mature me, and mold me for His plan and purpose.

I married my wonderful husband, David,  in 1992 and have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Faith & Hope.  Together, we have served as Evangelists, Worship Leaders, Youth Pastors, and Pastors of Young Adults in various churches throughout South Carolina and Florida.

I have learned and experienced many things in ministry and have been honored to minister at churches, conferences, & community events – including Women’s Aglow, MADD, various government events, the Mayor’s Breakfast, and the S.C. Capital Building.

Each time God opens a door of ministry – whether corporate or individual - I am both humbled and honored to be given the opportunity to share with others the awesomeness of the Holy Spirit, the abounding grace of the blood of Jesus, and the unending love of our Heavenly Father.

It is the “freeing Hand of God” which fuels my passion to touch people in such a dynamic way that their lives are forever changed as they discover their giftings and march towards their destiny in Christ.
